At the beginning of October, the Talent & Career team organised an Audit Round Table on the Reims and Rouen campuses. This event attracted several hundred participants, proof that the sector is attractive! 

The format of the event – a round table with Deloitte, EY, KPMG, Mazars and PWC, followed by an hour of informal discussions with auditors – attracted a large number of students. 

For the Talent & Career Recruitment Forum and Events team, organising the Audit Round Table had several objectives: to understand the financial audit and advisory sectors, to gain a better understanding of the jobs offered by these firms, to find out what skills are required and to introduce participants to the recruitment process.

“Historically, auditing and financial consultancy firms have taken on many students for internships, and there is still a very high level of professional integration within these firms, particularly for the Consulting, Controlling and Auditing tracks. These firms are privileged partners, they have a strong presence with our students and their alumni are very loyal to the School.

It is important to note that this year, during the round tables, the emphasis was placed on the transformation of the firms’ core business functions and, in particular, on the growing importance of extra-financial criteria, such as ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) – criteria that have considerably enriched the tasks entrusted to students“.
