Challenge to fight student food insecurity
Published on 01/30/2023
During Impact Now week in January 2023, NEOMA students took up a challenge to help others. The result? Two donations of €500 were made to solidarity grocery shops in our regions, ASERCA in Reims and EI2R in Rouen.
For the second edition of Impact Now on NEOMA campuses, the students took part in a solidarity challenge aimed at combating food insecurity among students. Each student’s participation in an activity during the week was rewarded with points and contributed to the growth of a solidarity fund.
With more than 200 participations per campus, the students maxed out the fund, offering two €500 donations to ASERCA (Association de Solidarité des étudiants de Reims Champagne-Ardenne) and to the EI2R (Épicerie Itinérante de Rouen et sa Région). These grants will be used to help students experiencing financial insecurity.
A huge congratulations to the Reims and Rouen campus student associations: Oikos Reims, Prépa’Rémois, HeForShe Reims, HeForShe Rouen, Comité RSE, Envie d’Sup, Alive, NATS Reims, NATS Rouen, Rouentatouille, Bee Responsible, Ethika, PEACH, Enactus Reims, ACCES and the Student, Arts, and Sports Committees.
