On 26 March, the Cheer Up Rouen student society organised a special Park Run Against Cancer. Organised in collaboration with ASPTT Rouen, Rouen Sports, the city of Rouen and The Novick’s Stadium, the fun run brought out 200 participants.

“We managed to create a student support and sports movement to collect donations,” Adrien Mourgues, Cheer Up president, said. “With the four thousand euros in funds raised, we want to bring fifteen young people battling cancer to Disneyland.”

The day-long event, which was financed by Crous Normandie, also had a tombola raffle, t-shirt sales and a concert (Groove) and a DJ set (Mix’it).
