As a partner of the Chair in Bioeconomy and Sustainable Development at NEOMA, CEGEE co-organised a special evening event dedicated to Champagne’s ecological transition.

While Champagne was the first winemaking region in the world to review its carbon footprint in 2003, the climate emergency now compels it to accelerate this movement. But what are the different approaches to encourage its sustainable transition? To answer this, the Chair in Bioeconomy and Sustainable Development, in partnership with Caisse d’Epargne Grand Est Europe, led a unique study that aimed to support this sector.

The takeaways from this research work were shared in March during an evening event that brought together all the stakeholders in Champagne on NEOMA’s Reims campus. The goal was to contribute to the current discussions taking place within this sector, which is already very committed to the issue.  

As the partner for this event, Caisse d’Epargne Grand Est Europe showed its willingness to accelerate its own environmental transition and further support its customers who face these complex challenges.
