NEOMA's world

rentrée NEOMA

NEOMA demonstrates a strong preference for in-class courses. “The various challenges, first starting with 100% digital learning and then involving pedagogic hybridisation, were successfully overcome last year, but what we experienced also underscored the invaluable contributions of in-person learning,” Delphine Manceau said.

That’s why the school will offer in-class courses on its campuses for the 2021 back to school period. It’s a very firm commitment because after the year that we’ve just gone through, the students need more than ever to be together, share in their learning, talk with their teachers and put more focus on student society life. We are aware of the pedagogic and psychological impact that the health crisis has had, and this 100% in-class back to school aims to offset the remote, online experiences of the past several months before we incorporate new hybrid models.

In fact, the school believes that pedagogic hybridisation is a major point of consideration for constructing the pedagogic model of tomorrow. That’s why the 100% in-person format will then be modified and developed. “We are currently undergoing an extensive review in order to identify the added value of each pedagogic format and the situations in which each of them is the most advantageous from a student experience aspect. We want to develop the optimal balance between remote- and in-person learning. We have a clear objective aimed at capitalising on the experience of last year to offer an improved pedagogic experience tomorrow.”
