How to strategically plan the use of renewable energy?

In an article published in Production and Operations Management journal, Mozart Menezes, NEOMA professor, and his co-author Youyi Feng, propose a model that allows decision and policy makers to strategically plan the use of renewable energy. Watch the video.
“Our model clearly characterises the modus operandi of such system and allows decision and policy makers to strategically plan the use of renewable energy. It provides a complete theoretical analysis for an energy efficient system using hydrogen or other renewables.
Our results are easy to be incorporated into automated systems such as Mega project Hydrogen City (GHI) in southern Texas.
Knowing how the system will be operated makes it easier to define the right capacities for storage, electrolysis; energy generation, and production.”
Mozart MENEZES is professor in the Information Systems, Supply Chain Management & Decision Support department and Director of the “The Complexity Advantage” Area of Excellence at NEOMA Business School.
