Volker KUPPELWIESER, professor at the Marketing department at NEOMA BS and PhD student Hoang Linh VU has both been rewarded at the 9th International Research Symposium in Service Management 2018 (IRSSM9).
Prof. Kuppelweiser received the Highly Commended Paper Award, sponsored by the Journal of Service Management (Emerald Publishing), for his paper “Mundane Matters – Quantifying the Influence of Every-Day Experiences on Consumers’ Buying Behavior”, co-written with Prof. Phil Klaus.
Hoang Linh VU, PhD student supervised by Prof. Kuppelwieser, received the Young Service Researcher Award at the same conference for the paper “The interrelations between transformative service research, service-dominant logic and customer-dominant logic”.
IRSSM conferences bring together researchers, teachers, practitioners and students from various service sectors and provides them with a unique forum to share the latest theories and practices prevalent in dynamic service economies. The 9th edition was hosted by the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia in July 2018.
