The NEOMA Master in Management Programme is expanding to train its students in the complexity of the challenges dealing with responsible business and sustainable transformation.

Understanding complexity

In ecological and social transition education, NEOMA champions a strong conviction through which it seeks to teach its students about the complexity of the challenges associated with responsible business, enabling them to take action in their professional lives.

“We see that some students in major institutions have begun to doubt their ability to transform companies. Our approach aims to turn them into drivers of change by helping them go beyond just good intentions,” Delphine Manceau, NEOMA Business School dean, said.

NEOMA’s objective is to help its students understand and solve the dilemmas they are confronted with in businesses.

Through an interdisciplinary approach, the students in the NEOMA Master in Management Programme will acquire the keys to understanding and taking action as well as the confidence necessary to succeed in this vital sustainable transformation of our society.

A Sustainability Transformation Track

Starting September 2022, NEOMA is launching a new Sustainability Transformation track in the Master in Management Programme.

Several courses punctuate the curriculum, including a “Global 2 in Corporate & Social Responsibility” track, where students do two exchange semesters in two countries and at two universities recognised for their CSR expertise.

“We are proud to have several partners that are leading institutions with regard to environmental and societal concerns such as BI Norwegian Business School in Norway, Jönköping University in Sweden, Jyväskylä and Lappeenranta University of Technology in Finland, and HEC Montréal in Canada,” said Imen Mejri, director of the Master in Management Programme at NEOMA Business School.

A new MSc in Sustainability Transformation

This Sustainable Transformation track will be complemented starting in September 2023 by the creation of a new MSc in Sustainability Transformation to make the sustainable transition a driver for innovation and positive transformation.

“The job market is changing with the emergence of new professions focused on the sustainable transition,” Imen Merjri said. “So, we worked off the transformation needs that companies are confronted with to create this new programme that looks to teach students to take on the positions of consultant or expert in sustainable development.”
