NEOMA's world

Thematics :

In mid-November, Cindy Zawadzki, director of the CESEM programme, went to John Carroll University in the U.S. to meet with the first students participating in this new two-year, international academic exchange.

Students at the new partner in the Americas track receive a visit from their programme director

Offering close assistance to her students on international exchange, Cindy Zawadzki, programme director, regularly travels to the partner schools of the CESEM programme.

These visits aim to both maintain and strengthen the connections with NEOMA’s partner schools and to keep up personalised contact with the students who are away for two years on exchange.

After she travelled to Madrid, Spain in September, she went to the United States where the students in the CESEM Americas track at the John Carroll University in Ohio had a chance to talk with their director on the campus before going on to a more relaxed, informal dinner.

“We were really touched by Dr. Zawadzki’s gesture of meeting us for a nice dinner off campus. It was a convivial moment of sharing and discussion. What’s more, as students, it’s important for us to know that we’re being looked after by our school and its management; a trip to the USA was a great demonstration of that!” say Alix et Sacha.

“Our meeting with Dr. Zawadzki was very productive, and gave us the opportunity to discuss how the first CESEM partnership between NEOMA and John Carroll is going. We were able to share our experience, the highlights but also the things that could be improved to make the exchange even better for students arriving next year. By coming to meet us, our director was able to get a real overview of our day-to-day life here.” adds Noémie.
