NEOMA's world

Thematics :

Stanislas Giraud came to meet students on the Reims campus on October 3. Stanislas, who graduated from Master in Management Programme in 1998, is now General manager France Marques at Labeyrie Fine Foods.

Here we look at two highlights of the day spent sharing experiences with students and chatting to them.

Meeting students on the MiM Programme

Students on the Master in Management Programme recently had the opportunity to meet a MiM graduate who has enjoyed an inspiring career. Stanislas Giraud shared his first-hand experience, giving students greater insight into the challenges involved in a leadership career.

After rewarding positions in France and on the international stage in corporations such as LVMH and Unilever, Stanislas joined Labeyrie Fine Foods 10 years ago.

The company’s slogan – Sharing a responsible passion for fine food – reflects one of the deepest values of a man who always puts people first.

The students asked numerous questions about the key skills of a leader, the ecological transition and the challenges facing the food industry.

Taste & Tell conference with students on the Wine & Gastronomy master’s

The Taste & Tell conferences combine a presentation on the company’s expertise with an informal tasting.

Stanislas launched this new concept that is part of NEOMA Wine & Gastronomy MSc, a Pépite programme with a multi-dimensional approach to agri-food marketing.

Giraud talked to the master’s students on the theme of industrial know-how, when he presented the Labeyrie Fine Food group which, with its 10 leading international brands, operates in three markets: seafood, local and veggie. And the proof was in the… tasting.

The students then had the pleasure of chatting with Stanislas, in particular about the need to innovate to adapt in the food sector, where consumer behaviour is constantly changing and evolving.
