Top Eight EY Tournament 2023: 700 students take to the rugby pitch

No fewer than 700 rugby-loving students took to the field at Marcoussis on 21 and 22 April and at the Stade Jean-Bouin on 23 April.
As has been the tradition since 2001, all the top schools were present: besides NEOMA, AUDENCIA, EM Lyon, ESCP, ESSEC, ENSAM, Dauphine, HEC, Grenoble EM, Polytechnique, Saint-Cyr, et Sciences Po Paris Supaéro. The University of Kent was also a special guest.
This event, organised by the students of NEOMA’s Top Eight association, was an incredible experience for each and every one of them. “I learnt a lot about myself and how to work with a team, but also with professionals,” explains Axelle Phalippou, President of Top Eight.

The Top Eight Tournament is an opportunity for students to meet partner companies in a dedicated corporate village. EY, historical partner, Margo Conseil, Yucatan, Société Générale and Serge Blanco (former rugby player turned businessman) were present for this 22nd edition.
A number of rugby stars came to encourage the young players at the Marcoussis centre. Like Fabien Pelous, who still holds the record for most appearances for the French national team.
