JALALI Hamed

PhD, Business Economics

Hamed joined NEOMA Business School in September 2017 and since April 2020, he is an associate professor in Supply chain management. He holds a Master's degree in Statistics and a PhD degree in Business Economics from KU Leuven, Belgium. Hamed’s research include simulation optimization (especially using Kriging-based algorithms), studying problems in the interface between marketing and OM, and analyzing sustainability practices of supply chains through game-theoretic models. His research appears in IIE Transactions, European Journal of Operational Research, and International Journal of Production Economics. Hamed serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for several journals including the Journal of the Operational Research Society and European Journal of Operational Research. Hamed has been involved in several industrial projects including an inventory management project for IMEC and a stock rationing project for EuroGijbels (a fruit and vegetable distribution company in Belgium).
