MENEZES Mozart

HDR (Authorization to supervise research), Engineering, Quantitative Methods

Dr. Mozart Menezes is a professor at NEOMA Business School. He has been previously affiliated with the MIT-Zaragoza Logistics Centre, HEC School of Management in Paris, and the Centre for Transportation and Logistics at MIT among others. He has been or is involved in research projects, or as employee, with several large companies, such as Acciona Energy, Alcatel-Lucent, the City of Calgary, Danone-Nutricia,  Doctors without Borders (MSF), General Motors, Groupe Casino, P&G, Telefonica, and WestJet. He obtained a BSc in Civil Engineering in Brazil, two MSc degree in Engineering and in Management from Clemson University, USA, and a PhD degree from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, Canada. He holds a HDR (French license to supervise PhD students). His research interests include Business Complexity and Risk, Supply Chain Network Design, and Supply Chain Resilience. His work has been published in some of the most respected journals in his field, such as the European Journal of Operational Research(EJOR),  International Journal of Production Economics (IJPE), International Journal of Operations & Production Management (IJOPM), Operations Research(OR), Production and Operations Management(POM), and PloS-ONE.
