Ph.D. in Management
Jihye Yeo is an Assistant Professor of Strategy & Entrepreneurship at NEOBA Business School. She received her Ph.D. in Management from the Australian National University (Canberra, Australian) and worked as a post-doctoral researcher at emlyon business school (Lyon, France). Her research primarily focuses on the intersection of innovation and public policy, with a particular emphasis on examining how public support influences firms’ innovation and seeking to enhance the impact of public policy. Jihye uses both qualitative and quantitative methods for her research. She has presented her work at peer-reviewed conferences such as the Academy of Management, the Academy of Management’s STR Paper Development Workshop for Oceania, and Australian Social Network Analysis Conference. Her research was also invited to present at the Australian Department of Industry, Innovation and Science. Her research appeared in Economic Modelling and the Best Paper Proceedings of the Academy of Management Conference (approx. top 10% of accepted papers). She was also selected as a finalist for the Carolyn Dexter Award at the 2017 Academy of Management Conference. Prior to joining the Australian National University, Jihye used to work as a project manager at a government-funded organization in South Korea.
