CERTA Lydia

PhD in Business and Management

Dr. Lydia Milly Certa is an Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at NEOMA Business School in France. Her research specializes in responsible governance, political CSR, stakeholder engagement, and inclusion in multistakeholder decision-making processes aimed at addressing Grand Challenges such as climate change and sustainability transitions. She examines how organizations navigate stakeholder engagement failures, re-engagement strategies, and legitimacy-building in multistakeholder governance settings. Recently, she also worked on an ESRC-funded project on Cultural Entrepreneurship in the vegan meat market. Her research has been presented at leading academic conferences such as EGOS and the Academy of Management (AOM), and at prestigious PDWs such as the JMS 2024 PDW at Bayes Business School and the Centre for Sustainable Business 2025 PDW at King’s Business School. Lydia is part of several research centres and groups, such as CSIM and CoDE at the University of Surrey; ETHOS at Bayes Business School; AOM ONE; and UNFCCC YOUNGO.
